How many grafts do I need?
The number of grafts is one of the first questions during a consultation. The answer depends on more than just the size of the bald zone.
What is a graft?
A graft is a natural group of one to four hairs that grow together from one hair follicle. The number of hairs is therefore higher than the number of grafts.
What determines the number?
The area to be treated, the desired density, the thickness and curl of the hair and especially the capacity of the donor area. The donor area is limited; it must also be saved for the future.
