Beard transplant: what you need to know
An irregular or thin beard can be made fuller with a transplant, using hairs from your own donor area.
For whom?
For men with bald spots in the beard, a thin mustache or an unclear jawline, and for camouflaging scars.
The procedure
Grafts with one or two hairs are placed in the direction of the beard. After a few days the scabs disappear; the first result becomes visible after a few months.
After the treatment
Shaving is usually possible again after a few weeks, following the clinic's instructions. The transplanted hairs grow like normal beard hairs.
